President's Message

Dear Club Members and Fellow Wharton Alumni, Welcome to the Wharton Club of Geneva!

The mission of The Wharton Club of Geneva is to serve the 170 or so Wharton alumni community spread across Suisse Romande and neighboring France. The point of joining the Club is first to have fun, network and make new friends as well as to be a part of promoting the Wharton School to the outside community in Suisse Romande.

Through the club activities you will be able to network with leaders in start-ups, finance, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, banking, management consulting, healthcare, energy, renewables, industrials and the many other industries propelled by our Alumni.

In addition to our professional events, Alumni benefit from social events such as drinks evenings, holiday parties, celebrations and cultural events hosted by our fellow Alumni or in conjunction with other local MBA Ivy League clubs.

Your club is run by unpaid Alumni volunteers.  We receive no financial assistance from Wharton. The club has chosen not to collect dues from members. This means that any event expenses must be covered by attendees or otherwise self-funding. The club may accept donations from generous benefactors. We depend on you all to volunteer to organize events, pick up the phone to help and advise fellow Alumni and give life to our club.

Committee members put in the extra efforts to run the club for you. Please reach out to us if you would like to join and be part of the special closer connection to our fellow Alumni members and the dedicated School Global Clubs staff. If you graduated from the full-program degree of the Wharton School (undergraduate, graduate, WEMBA) and live in the greater Geneva area, I hope you will reach out to your committee and get involved in the Club activities.

I look forward to seeing you at our next events!

With warm regards,

Jacqueline Curzon, WG 93

President
